Calcul Québec launches the 10th edition of its Spring School
Computing is a powerful lever for research. It’s just a matter of knowing how to make the most of it! Calcul Québec’s Spring School gives you the opportunity to quickly acquire essential programming skills, in an immersive setting tailored to your needs.
Intensive training to optimize your analyses
From May 20 to 23, 2025, experienced Calcul Québec analysts will be in Sherbrooke to offer hands-on workshops. This intensive week of training will also enable you to meet other participants from the research and innovation community.
This event will enable you to develop your skills and expand your network, as well as identify solutions specific to your research work. What’s more, for this 10th edition, workshops in artificial intelligence will enrich the training to offer you a broader perspective on digital tools.
Two courses to suit your needs
Whether you’re new to programming or looking to optimize your calculations, two courses are available:
- Introduction to programming: Learn to write scripts in Python and work in a Linux environment as well as on a supercomputer
- Advanced parallel computing techniques in Python: Learn how to harness the power of clusters and accelerate your analyses with parallel computing in Python
