Public needs in Artificial Intelligence highlighted
Several players involved in artificial intelligence are urging the Canadian government to invest more in public supercomputers. Among them are :
- Yoshua Bengio, Scientific Director of Mila,
- Suzanne Talon, Director of Calcul Québec,
- Siva Reddy, an assistant professor of linguistics and computer science at McGill University,
- and James Peltier, who oversees the Research Computing Group, IT services at Simon Fraser University.
